| Details: | City identified a split on a dead-end line along NW Banks Road. Due to limited isolation, repair will include installation of a gate valve for future maintenance. An emergency shutdown is scheduled for 09/23/2025, affecting 27 residential homes and one apartment complex (~30 tenants). The landlord has been notified, and door postings are being distributed. Water will be shut off from approximately 8:00–10:00 a.m., with potential for a longer outage. Following repairs, the system will be flushed and tested for coliform. 9/24/2025 Update: Following repair of a known leak and repressurization of the line, a failure occurred at the end of a 2-inch dead-end main on 9/23/2025. Service was restored to 22 homes and the apartment complex by noon; however, 5 homes supplied by the 2-inch line remained without water until 6:30 PM. All lines were flushed, and water quality samples were collected and submitted to the lab. Sample results are expected back on 9/25/2025. 9/25/2025: Coliform samples came back clean. |
