| Details: | DWS was notified on 9/24 about a total coliform (negative E. coli) detection on 9/23 at routine coliform sampling site 1008 SE 212th SS 67. DWS called the operator to see if repeats (initial site, upstream, downstream) and triggered source samples at wells operating during the time of detection were taken. Staff are taking triggered source assessments at Well #7, no other wells were operating during the time of detection. Operator followed up with the lab to ensure that water system contacts (and backup contact) is up to date and that the lab is notifying staff of any detections so they can follow up to future alerts. 9/27 update: Operator let me know that all repeats and the triggered source samples collected came back satisfactory and there are no further actions needed. |
