| Details: | Left Ron a voice message informing him a coliform investigation is required. I emailed him a copy of the L1 coliform investigation form and information on shock chlorination. When I spoke with him previously, he mentioned the only changes to the system is a new well head housing/covering that was just recently installed. I asked Ron to contact me with any updates or questions. Ron called me back on 10/1/25 and said that a sand filter was recently installed and during the process the installer removed the well vent because it was in the way. This opening in the casing may be the source of contamination. Ron said he is having the screen vent reinstalled and will then follow up with shock chlorination of the well/system. I reminded Ron to document these actions in the current L1 coliform investigation that is required. |
