| Details: | I spoke with Mr. Clackum as his home telephone number and Tina at Hiland Water about the situation with lead over the action level in 2017. I explained to both Mr. Clackum and Tina that DWS has not received a complete recommendation for corrosion control treatment nor did DWS receive pH measurements when the other water quality parameter results were submitted. Tina stated that she will send a copy of the missing pH measurements that Hiland Water collected in the field and that weren’t submitted last year. She will also send a short letter explaining why Hiland Water is recommending Orthophosphate instead of other methods of corrosion control. I explained that when these two things are done, then the schedule for installing treatment will essentially be “caught up.” I also explained to Tina (and Mr. Clackum previously) that a round of tap water samples for lead and copper reported before the end of June will likely suspend any need for treatment installation, which is an allowance provided by the rules. |
