| Details: | I just received a call from Patrick Fitzgerald – he had some questions about sampling. (808) 896-1549 - Their water system director was under the impression that they take 3 rounds of 3 samples ( 9 in total ) – I inspructed him to use their Coliform sampling plan and sample from the site listed for the positive site. - We covered his DPD Kit whish is a HACH kit – he has ordered reagents – those in the kit were expired in 2018 - I covered sending the kit in for recalibration to make sure it is working correctly – they are getting very low residual counts from the city of Yamhill. - We covered proper sampling protocol – take samples from the “dumbest valve available” no frost free valves, no ranch facets, no faucets with swivels – follow proper sampling procedure – sanitize the valve, let the water run for a while then take the sample. |
