| Details: | At 3:03 PM I was cc'd on an alert for an E. coli positive coliform sample taken 10-22-25 at the SE Hose Bib sample site. I forwarded the alert and related repeat sampling instructions to Gary Van Der Veen and Melissa Wong, however, since they were out of the office, I forwarded the repeat sampling letter and alert to Brett Aldrich via email at hopewellwatercompany@gmail.com and followed up with a phone call to him at 503-871-0457 and left a voice mail (VM) to let him know that he needed to take 3 repeat samples to the lab today. I also mentioned on the VM that their coliform results all indicated 0.8 mg/l chlorine residual, which was unusual to have such consistent results and did not appear to be a measured value, but rather the minimum residual they are required to maintain to achieve 4-log viral inactivation. Their monthly 4-log GWR monitoring reports demonstrate that they have been consistently meeting that 0.8 mg/l residual requirement, but the current month was not visible on our website. I followed up with emails to Gary, Melissa, and an email and phone call to Nicole Acuff (filling in at Yamhill Co for Melissa and Gary). I spoke to Gary briefly during which time Brett left a VM at 4:37 pm that he got my VM and had just dropped off 3 repeat samples to the lab. I followed up with a return call and VM to let him know that he could call our after-hours number (503-704-1174) over the weekend for advice if any of the repeats were positive. | ||
