| Details: | Larry contacted DWS with a question about how to report surface water treatment data for the month of October 2025. Seal Rock Water District has purchased water from the City of Newport during October and has been unable to run the Beaver Creek Water Treatment plant due to high salinity in the source water. This phenomenon is due to high tidal activity and low precipitation/streamflow in the Beaver Creek watershed. SRWD began using purchased water 10/1/25 at 12:00 pm and remains on purchased water. DWS instructed SRWD to submit an annotated SWTR with plant data from 10/1 and notes that water was purchased from Newport during the rest of the month. |
