| Details: | Visited with Mr. Choy about the violation that was issued for not reporting a routine monthly sample for September. It was discussed that it is a rule requirement even though the firm is on a boil water notice. In addition repeat and triggered samples would be required if the samples comes back present, resulting in five samples in a month. The firm may decide that it is worth taking the violation as the money saved can go towards the cost of connecting to the city water system. I discussed that the PNC status could result in enforcement after six months. Mr. Choy is working with the City of Woodburn to connect to their PWS but it is taking time as a city council meeting is required along with an annex. At this time Mr. Choy does not believe he can have a corrective action timeline done by 12-30-25. I sent an email to compliance explaining the situation and asking for an extension to 2-28-26 when Mr. Choy will have more information and likely be able to detail a corrective action timeline. |
