| Details: | PFAS sampling conducted as part of the OHA PFAS Sampling Project showed PFOA at 7.09 ppt, PFHxS at 36.2 ppt, PFHxA at 7.76 ppt, and PFPeA at 5.39 ppt at entry point A (EP-A) for Well for a sample collected on 8/28/25. These results exceed the PFOA and PFHxS MCLs, however compliance will be based on a running annual average (RAA). If compliance monitoring beginning April 2027 shows the RAA exceeds the MCLs, the system will need to take corrective action to comply with the MCLs by April 2029. A letter was mailed and emailed to the water system on 11/20/25 which included information on how the results compare to the new PFAS MCLs, the need to resample due to minimum reporting levels not being achieved, and information on Emerging Contaminant funding available to address PFAS. | ||
