| Details: | I talked to OWS staff about the recent Lead & Copper results over the MCL. I asked the operator to confirm that the sampling locations met requirements for Tier-1 sites. If the samples are not invalidated, then a public notice for Lead must be posted at the system within 24 hours. If any samples are invalidated, then replacement samples at approved locations must be taken within an additional ten days. The samples were submitted on 11/18/2025, but due to a database error at that time neither the operator or regulators were notified of results exceeding the 90th percentile for Lead & Copper. I also sent an email with a public notice template, and criteria for L&C sampling. |
