| Details: | A contractor hit a 4" waterline, causing a leak. The leak was isolated to one service connection. The contractor repaired the broken section of pipe, then contacted the water system and said they disinfected, swabbed and turned the water back on. As the water system was not notified until after the repair was complete, they are unsure if all the proper procedures were followed. I advised the system to collect coliform samples at the service location that was affected and communicate with that customer the possible contamination. | ||
