| Details: | EPA recently provided OHA with UCMR5 data for water systems <10,000 that has been reprocessed down to the PFAS drinking water rule trigger levels (1/2 the MCLs) to be used for meeting the PFAS rule initial monitoring requirements. These reprocessed UCMR5 results show: 1. PFBS 1.3 ppt for a sample collected 8/22/23 at EP-A for WTP-A 2. PFOS 1.5 ppt for a sample collected 8/22/23 at EP-B for Miller Road Wells Although these results do not exceed a PFAS MCL (note: compliance with MCLs will be based on a running annual average (RAA) of quarterly compliance monitoring results collected after April 2027), water system is still eligible for emerging contaminant funding. Provided information on available emerging contaminant funding that can be used to address PFAS. |
