| Details: | 12.10.2025 - I contacted Andrew Hall and confirmed that Plan Review approval is not required for the operation of the two new IXOM G-12 mixers that the system is planning to purchase and install. I reminded the operator that the equipment must still meet NSF/ANSI standards to ensure public health and safety. 12.01.2025 - Andrew Hall (P.E., The Dyer Partnership), contacted me, regarding the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board's plan to purchase and install the mixers specified in the tracer study methodology. He needed confirmation on one key items: Does DWS require any further for approval or is the tracer study methodology and results sufficient. Andrew confirmed the water system plans to run two tracer studies: one with mixers off and one with them on, as described in the methodology. 10.28.2025 - DWS reviewed and approved the tracer study methodology received on October 18, 2025. Next steps: Once the tracer study is completed, the operator was advised to submit the results to DWS. 10.18.2025 - The water system submitted a memorandum for project No. 110.31 - Tracer Study Methodology for the 9.0 MG Clearwell. |
