| Details: | I received a water quality complaint on 12/19 from a customer and food business owner in the City of Detroit that they were not notified immediately of the boil water advisory the City issued and had concerns that the current operator is under-certified. I called the City Recorder, Michelle Connor who let me know they sent out flyers to impacted customers on Saturday 12/20 and posted a notice on the City Facebook Page. Michelle let me know that the north side of highway 22 has restored pressure, and the south side of highway 22 should have pressure restored later this afternoon. Once completed, they will take the necessary coliform samples and let customers know when the advisory is lifted. I called the customer and let them know of the updates. Will be following up with the city to see when the operator can take their exam to be qualified. | ||
