| Details: | The OHA-DWS Benton County regulator and OHA-DWS compliance officer met with the Monroe city manager. The discussion was based on compliance related to violations accrued for exceedances of disinfection byproducts, overdue compliance related requirements, Monroe's Priority Non-Complier Status, and unpaid civil penalties. The city manager was provided a history of the related compliance issues, the need to complete a corrective action plan to address DDP formation, short-term solutions (flushing/reservoir levels/CT levels at the entry point) and a pending bilateral compliance agreement or administrative order to address the violations. The city manager stated he would provide OHA-DWS with a corrective action plan including interim measures to address DBP levels and future addition in treatment. The city was made aware of the need for OHA-DWS plan review for all major modifications. |
