| Details: | On 12/3/25, the system experienced a total coliform detection. Three repeats and 3 triggered source samples were collected on 12/8/25 with 2 of the repeats and source samples from wells 2 and 3 positive for total coliform. The system followed up with low dose chlorination and flushing of the water system. On 1/15/26, 3 routine samples were collected and 2 were positive for total coliform. System is to collect 3 repeat samples and triggered source samples from each active well. Ty said not all wells were on at the time, but that he would collect from all 5 wells. At the time of this contact report, the results have not been received from the lab. The system did find a check valve issue with well 2 and is continuing to determine other possible causes of contamination. Additionally, the city has 2 months of multiple coliform detections. If there is another month with multiple hits in 2026, treatment will be required. |
