| Details: | Spoke to Hillary from crow clay associates working with the Coquille Tribe to develop what is referred to as Camp Easter Seals property. She requested info related to setting up and operating a public water system. Based on the intended use, meetings, recreation, camping for both tribal members and non, its presumed the pws would qualify as a transient system. Presumed two existing wells will be in use. Goal to be operational September 2019. 1. After much flushing, collect a total coliform source sample from each well. This will suggest any immediate needs for disinfection treatment. 2. Collect a nitrate sample post blending of well water (or pre-blended from each well). This will determine any immediate treatment needs. 3. Collect an arsenic sample post blending of well water (or pre-blended from each well) I suggested notifying me of results and to be prepared to work through the plan review process for any treatment needs including aesthetic concerns. This process can take time. These are the first steps toward getting ready to operate. |
