| Details: | We received an emailed water quality alert from the State-wide system. We contacted the System Operator and left a voice message. The operator (Edan Lira) called us back within an hour. He informed us that follow-up tests had been collected early this morning. Samples are on route to the lab. We clarified that no boil water order would be required unless e-coli bacteria was detected and confirmed. We reminded the operator that eventually, this reoccurring issue with total-coliform detection would need to be resolved. At the present time, we stated that a cause of the problem will need to be found as soon as possible. |
