| Details: | I spoke with Marlene about the recent water quality complaint received. She lives onsite and is collecting the water samples now. I instructed her on how to select proper routine coliform sample sites. Previous routine samples submitted were labeled well tap but Marlene said they were actually collected after the arsenic treatment system (technically EP not DIST). I also gave her detailed information on how to properly collect coliform samples and she will be adding her mobile home as a routine sample site. The water system has had some issues with low water pressure in the past. Since the system facilities and the premises being served are all on the same parcel of property, requirements relating to pipe materials and pipe installation need to comply with the State Plumbing Code not PWS rules. I also asked her to collect another arsenic sample this month to demonstrate the treatment is working properly and to comply with the current administrative order. | ||
