| Details: | I spoke with the new operator,Ken, regarding the failure of this pws to meet the required 4-log disinfection. It appears that there had been issues with power outages and the chlorinator that have been resolved. The operator travels to this site approximately 2-3 times a month. There is a under certified operator who lives on this property and conducts the daily testing. I have instructed Ken to speak with the under certified operator regarding these events and should it occur again to contact Ken or myself immediately for further instructions. I let Ken know that if the 4 log disinfection not be met in the future and can not be resolved within one hour that a Boil Water Alert will need to be posted. He claims that he will contact myself or the duty officer if this type of event is repeated. | ||
