| Details: | PFAS monitoring 02.18.2026 - I emailed back Jeffrey, confirming that the UCMR5 data for Brookings meets the PFAS rule initial monitoring requirements. No additional sampling is needed at this time. Ongoing compliance monitoring for regulated PFAS begins after April 26, 2027. Brookings qualifies to begin compliance monitoring after April 26, 2027 on a reduced triennial (every 3 year) monitoring schedule. 02.17.2026 - Jeffrey Smiley with Jacbos requested approval to use the previously collected UCMR5 sampling results to satisfy all of the initial PFAS monitoring requirements under EPA's PFAS National Primary Drinking Water Regulation. Sampling was conducted in January and July 2024. No detection of PFAS |
