| Details: | I called DRC and Jessica and left voicemails requesting a callback regarding the recent high nitrate alert. A follow up email was also sent to Jessica with the same information regarding the high nitrate alert. I wanted to confirm with Jessica if she received the test results and if Well 1 (upper well) is the only well in use and that Well 2 (lower well) is still offline and only for emergency use only. If Well 2 is in operation, a public notice will have to be issued to consumers in regards to the high nitrate. Additionally, I mentioned that next quarterly sample for Cadmium is going to be due in 22 days (March 31, 2026). Update March 13, 2026: The operator indicated that the nitrate sample collected from the lower well was a special sample. The well is not currently serving the customers. The operator has submitted this quarter’s cadmium monitoring results and is currently up to date with required chemical monitoring |
