| Details: | 003.10.2026 - The DRC informed me that during the month of February, less than 95 percent of the turbidity reading were below 0.3 NTU and the system did not meet their daily CT requirements. System upgrades and Data Accuracy: The system has installed a new digital chart machine (supporting SD, USB, and Ethernet). It is a 6-channel unit that allows for more reliable turbidity profiles. The DRC has set the maximum turbidity threshold to 5 NTU on both the chart and the Hach SC200 to ensure all spikes are captured. Future Integration: Once the plant upgrade is complete, the operator will integrate finished water and first-user chlorine readings into this system to better track disinfection levels and CT compliance. Next steps: Now that the system has installed a digital charter, the DRC feels confident that the operator will be able to track turbidity more accurately. Given the circumstances, the boil water notice was lifted today. Customers will be notified. To address the CT and turbidity violation during the month of February, the DRC will post a Tier 2 public notice on 03.11.2026. A copy of the Tier 2 notice will be forwarded to DMCE. |
