| Details: | Received and email from Edie stating that residents have concerns related to shared water systems, sanitation, and facility conditions. I responded with an onsite visit on 3/31/26 where I met and spoke with Edie. • Residents have not received clear or accessible water quality reporting. COMMUNITY WATER SYSTEMS ARE REQUIRED TO ISSUE A CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORT (CCR) TO CUSTOMERS AT LEAST ONCE EVERY YEAR. THE CCR IS REQUIRED TO INCLUDE WATER QUALITY AND MONITORING INFORMATION FOR THE PREVIOUS CALENDAR YEAR. SUNSET VILLAGE MHP HAS VIOLATIONS FOR NOT REPORTING A CCR FOR 2022, 2023 AND 2024. THE VIOLATIONS WERE RESOLVED IN 2025 AFTER SUNSET VILLAGE MHP CERTIFIED THE CCRs WERE DELIVERED. SUBMITTED WATER TEST RESULTS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC ONLINE AT: https://yourwater.oregon.gov/inventory.php?pwsno=01070 • During power outages, residents lose access to water entirely, and no emergency contingency plan has been communicated. COMMUNITY PUBLIC WATER SYSTEMS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN (ERP) THAT ADDRESSES DISRUPTIONS TO THE WATER SUPPLY. WE DO NOT APPROVE THE CONTENT OF AN ERP BUT RESOURCES ARE PROVIDED TO AID IN THEIR CREATION. SUNSET VILLAGE MHP CURRENTLY HAS TWO ACTIVE GROUND WATER WELLS THAT SUPPLY DRINKING WATER TO THE SYSTEM. • The pump house appears structurally deteriorated and unsecured. BOTH WELLS ARE PROTECTED BY SMALL REMOVABLE BOX-LIKE STRUCTURES THAT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM RULES. A SHED HOUSING THE PRESSURE TANK AND PUMP CONTROLS FOR THE SECONDARY WELL IS PROVIDED AND WAS LOCKED. THE SHED BUILDING IS OLD AND SCHEDULED FOR REPLACEMENT PER THE MANAGER. THE SHED IS REQUIRED TO MEET ANY APPLICABLE BUILDING CODES. • There is no visible fencing or controlled access. FENCING IS NOT REQUIRED. BOTH STRUCTURES HOUSING THE PRESSURE TANKS AND PUMP CONTROLS WERE LOCKED. • Debris accumulation and lack of maintenance are present. ITEMS LOCATED BEHIND THE MAINTENACE BUILDING BUT DO NOT PRESENT A SANITARY HAZARD |
