| Details: | Lvl 2 Coliform Deficiencies Corrected: -Hiland water informed them that the well that was repaired with concrete was chlorinated after the repair was completed. They reached out to McMullen Water and sent them a copy of the report. They are going to look at it and hopefully have some information on the installation of the new plumbing and well tanks. -Made a repair to the leaking service line that was found at the abandoned site. They have also cleaned out the vault with standing water. There was about 4 Inches of debris in the vault, which was preventing the water from draining. They did not note any leaks inside the vault, and have been monitoring it for any water accumulation. -The procedure for coliform sampling I have been using follows the OHA "Revised Coliform Sampling Plan For water Systems Serving Up to 1000 persons. This includes inspecting the sample site for any foreign material that could end up in the sample bottle. Flushing the sample site for a minimum of 3 minutes. Avoid contact with the inside of the lid or bottle. Additionally, the system operator was notified to submit public notices explaining why the deficiencies was not corrected sooner and what has been done since then to resolve these deficiencies. Public notice template was sent to the operator. |
