| Details: | Dean contacted DWS after learning that Routine sample on 3/25/26 was TC and E. Coli positive. Zellers has posted a boil water notice and is providing bottled water to customers. Columbia Laboratories collected 3 x Repeat and 1 x Triggered samples on 3/30/26. DWS instructed Zellers to continue providing bottled water and delay any corrective action until additional data is available. The Routine sample had no detectable chlorine residual, and the Repeat samples had very high chlorine ~ 6.0 mg/L. Dean says that chlorinator is old and has been behaving erratically. Zellers has ordered a new chlorinator. DWS instructed Dean to monitor chlorine residual several times per day and target a residual of 0.2 mg/L after installation of the new chlorinator. |
