| Details: | I received a voice mail from Courtney Krause regarding an SOC violation received for the USACE Bonneville Dam. The violation was assessed due to missing results from EP-A for some of the SOCs for the monitoring period spanning 1-1-23 to 12-31-25. OHA-DWS received 6 regulated SOC results on 10-28-25 from sampling completed 10-14-25 but are missing results for another 23 SOCs. Lab reporting forms received via email on 4-24-26 from Courtney also confirmed that only 6 of the 29 regulated SOCs had results. I called and emailed Courtney back to relay this information and recommended checking with the lab to see if there were any other results that just did not get reported. 5-1-26 Update: Courney Krause called to report that the wrong set of bottles was sent to them, which is why only some of the SOCs could be analyzed. I recommended that they sample for SOCs now to resolve the violation and fulfill the current monitoring requirement for the period 1-2-26 to 12-31-28. This would also allow the violation to be returned to compliance. I followed up with an email to Courtney (with a cc to Jennifer George with Multnomah County) with the recommendation to sample SOCs now. In the email I also let Courtney know that the violation requires a Tier 3 public notice to be distributed to customers within 1 year.
