| Details: | Operator contacted me by phone following the CO samples taken at well where annual AS sample had tested positive for TC and EC. CO well samples are all positive for TC. Operator has questions about system and sampling. I set a date to visit system and provide info/training to operator. 5/3/2019 - Site visit. Looked at water system. Chlorinator was leaking, proper raw water sample tap difficult to collect sample from. Sample taken from hose attached to tap (actually drain from Pressure Tank). Noted 2500 gallon water reservoir on site and installation of this additional tank was planned. Reviewed sampling technique. Left to do list: 1. Refer the tank install to DWS for plan review 2. Have well service repair/properly install chlorinator. 3. Have Source AA sample tap re-configured to allow a proper source sample to be taken. 4. Discussed that system was now on monthly AS monitoring for source AA and would need to take AS sample on AA by May 31st. 5/20/2019 Received conditional approval for tank install from DWS. |
