| Details: | Jeff called reporting total coliform was found present in recent routine sample submitted to lab. He commented that there may have been recent work done on a water line on the property. I advised the rule required ASAP: 3 repeat samples to be collected (one at the same site that recently showed coliform present and one upstream and one downstream from that site within 5 connections) plus a source sample from the wellhead. If any of the 3 repeats showed coliform present then a review of the property and system would be in order and maybe a chlorine shock in vicinity of where any work was done. In the month of June 3 temporary routine samples will be due. |
