| Details: | I spoke with Debbie Keating in the office of the property owner and explained the monitoring requirements in the administrative order and why OHA issued the order in this case, which is because monitoring is six years past due and OHA has mailed at least two previous letters regarding this monitoring. I also explained that OHA will move forward with civil penalties if the deadlines in the order aren't met and that the owner may request a hearing to appeal the order if he feels OHA is incorrect in determining the violation. Debbie and I talked briefly about the monitoring and why lead and copper monitoring is slightly more complicated than other types of monitoring but I stated that it should still be simple enough that samples can be collected once every three years. She stated she will make sure the owners understand the requirements and receive copies of the order and previous warning letters and that Doug's supervisor knows what needs to be done. | ||
