| Details: | I called and spoke with Nate regarding the recent administrative order and explained the monitoring requirements. I also explained that OHA will move forward with civil penalties if the deadlines in the order aren't met and that the board may request a hearing to appeal the order if it feels OHA is incorrect in determining the violation. Nate said the water district board met in the last day or two and received the order and discussed how to comply with the requirements. I clarified that lead and copper samples should be collected as soon as possible and absolutely no later than the middle of July but that disinfection byproducts must wait until September. Nate stated the samples would get collected and reported quickly. | ||
