| Details: | Joy called to report a recent sample result showed the presence of total coliform bacteria. She was concerned that the ozone system was not functioning correctly and thought about shocking the system. She was instructed prior to doing any work on the system to collect ASAP: 1 source sample and 3 repeat samples (1 from the same faucet used earlier this week, 1 upstream toward the well and the last one within 5 spaces away from the well). I advised her if any repeat samples showed the presence of coliforms to then consider actions to identify and correct any problems in the system and cause resolution. 3 temporary routine samples will be due in July and any issues should ideally be resolved prior to collecting the July samples. |
