| Details: | Phone call to the operator 6/4/2019 and a field visit 6/6/2019. A level 2 investigation was completed and public notice was posted at the soda fountain with an Out of Order sign 6/6/2019. The operator is thinking the coliform positive test results are due to the wells close proximity to the road and RV park with waste dumps at each site, only about 20-25 feet from both. The operator will shock chlorinate the well this weekend and take a water test at the beginning of next week. He is aware of the requirement to install disinfection by the end of the year, as the letter was provided to him during this investigation. He has looked into the cost to install disinfection. At this time he is looking into alternative sources for the water like hauling water in or possibly connecting to city water but the closest water line appears to be many 1,000's of feet away. | ||
