| Details: | Two source water confirmation samples, taken on June 3rd, have been submitted to Drinking Water as positive total coliform and negative E. coli. This confirmation samples are a result of a positive E. coli positive during an annual source assessment sample at well #2 (SRC-AB) I reached out to the system to verify that all five confirmation samples have been taken. I was contacted by Greg Pietz by phone. He confirmed that all five had been taken, and that no E. coli had been found. He confirmed that two tests came back positive for total coliform. I recommended to the water system follow up with their water lab to ensure that the three negative confirmation samples are reported to Drinking Water Services, since only the positives have been reported at this time. The system has residual maintenance chlorination. No total coliform or E. coli has been detected in the distribution system at this time. The system is returning to routine coliform sampling. |
