Details:	City of Reedsport started receiving taste and odor complaints (water smelled fishy) around May 27, 2019. They had received similar customer complaints in May 2018. The City attempted to fix the issue by changing it's chlorine from MIOX to gas chlorine. The system had used gas chlorine in the past hoping the MIOX may have been the issue for the taste and odor problem. The system figured out the issue was they were no longer using ozone which had been masking the problem previously. The system switched from using MIOX to gas chlorine from 5/28/19 to 6/5/19. The system is back to using MIOX and the problem of the fishy smell in the water has gone away. The system is now looking into ways to control this problem in the future.
