| Details: | Wyatt received the lead and copper test results from the lab (all below action levels), and is ready to send out the notifications to the houses where samples were collected earlier this month. He asked if he could prepare the consumer notices using the template shown on our webpage, but then email the individual notices to the 5 houses rather than mailing them. The HOA conducts all their communications by email. A couple houses that were monitored belong to board members. I consulted OAR 333-061-0034(5)(e) about the lead and copper test result notifications. It says: "The Consumer notice must be provided to persons served at the tap that was tested, either by mail or by another method approved by the Authority. … Water supplier must provide the notice to customer at every sample tap tested, including consumers who do not receive water bills." I approved of Wyatt delivering the notice of test results via email to those 5 residences. |
