| Details: | Terry called to inform a routine coliform sample (drawn from his apartment) showed the presence of coliform bacteria. He planned to collect a source sample plus 3 repeat samples ASAP (one from his apartment, one upstream and another downstream from his apartment within 5 connections). He stated some work had been done to the water line some days ago that might have contributed to the result and noted the chlorine used to aid in iron removal had been immeasurable at the time of the sample. I asked him to call me if any of the repeats showed the presence of coliform. Otherwise 3 temporary routine samples are due in July. |
