| Details: | By phone Dave: (1) Confirmed that the water line coming from the spring has been cut off and capped and would send a couple photos shortly; (2) Stated water continues to be hauled from the Coos Bay North Bend water board as the source; (3) Adds a cup or so of an NSF chlorine product upon arrival of each tank of water as a precaution and measures the chlorine strength (I advised him the rule requires chlorine measurement at least 2 times per week); (4) Plans to collect the monthly coliform bacteria sample in the next week before the end of June. We also discussed finding a recipe to raise the chlorine concentration 0.5 ppm for 1,500 gallons of water to reduce chlorine odor AND Enquiring among neighbors regarding an alternative ground water source. |
