| Details: | Not an alert. Response to situation based on special sample that showed E.coli in the well. Water turbid, as system was just starting up for season. Needed to follow proper seasonal start-up procedures. System to shut-down water to park and will disinfect well and distribution. Allow to sit in all piping and then flush system. When chlorine is cleared, resample at well and mark special. Continue with monthly sampling on seasonal system if well is clean of E. coli. If still E. coli present will need to investigate further as to what is causing the problem. |
