| Details: | Civil West was notified by Adam DeSemple that the Springbrook Water Association had failed an e.coli sample and that other problems existed (consistent chlorination) Met with Mark Meinert and two of the operators. The springbox was excavated around the sides in anticipation of installing a bentonite layer outside the concrete springbox. It was recommended to continue to install the bentonite, but to also re-grout the interior of the springbox. Chlorination was from a manual tablet feeder. If possible, we recommend that the Association install power to the chlorination building to be able to run a mechanical pump to inject a set amount of chlorine. We feel this would provide a more constant residual. |
