| Details: | The City of Coquille tested too high for cryptosporidium in the surface water that they use during the summer months when their groundwater will not produce enough flow. Because of this they fall under the Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule. This requires that tests are taken at their surface water source either once a month for two years or twice a month for one year. Civil West procured the testing kit and had a training on how to perform the tests. Coquille opted for the testing to be performed once a month for two years. This will only be done between June and November for 2019 and 2020. It will only be during those months because that is the only time they use that water source. The required testing will be performed between June and November of 2019 and 2020. The technical memo will be prepared and submitted on 3/6/2019. |
