| Details: | The system is in need to transition from surface water to a ground water source. OHA is strongly recommended this change. The reason is the water system doesn’t have a certified operator to operate the treatment facilities. Groundwater is deemed more efficient and easier to operate. An onsite meeting was held to become familiar with the system and discuss options. Correspondence with OHA was had to confirm their stance and recommendation. The system has received cost proposals for arsenic treatment. A project cost was developed based on feedback from OHA and the proposed treatment supplier. Prepare funding application for the project. |
