| Details: | Swisshome Village needs to perform a tracer study to ensure that adequate disinfection is being achieved for the safety of the users. 2-7-2019: Jared met with operator Mat Grassauer on site to tour the facility and collect information for the methodology and tracer study. Based on the current configuration of the system, it was determined that modifications would need to be made to allow for a valid tracer study to be performed. The current clearwell configuration does not allow for minimum water level maintenance and contact time for disinfection. Additionally, chemical mixing and dosing ratio needs to be more precisely measured for accurate calculations. Options were discussed with Jay McPherson from OHA and the operator to address the current deficiencies. The Circuit Rider effort will be closed, and another CR task opened once modifications have been completed that would allow for the tracer study to be performed. The tracer study will be scheduled upon completion of system modifications. The technical memo will be prepared and submitted on 2/25/2019. |
