Details: | On 08.02.19 I contacted Mr. Downing to get an update of the works done to connect River Hills Estates to the City water system. Mr. Downing reported over the phone that the city has stopped their connection. They are awaiting equipment from GB Plumbing. The job should be finished by the end of next week. Mr. Downing will let me know when the job is finished and they are given the okay by the city. On 06.28.19 I emailed a request to DWS office to update River Hills Estate A PWS 05594 to a community water system. System A now has 34 people and 19 connections. A community water system is designated to a public water system that is serving 25+ people with 15+ connections. On 06.21.19 Mr. Downing confirmed that River Hills Estates A,B, C and D will connect to the city of Gold Beach public water system (PWS ID No. 01059). Gold Beach Plumbing is prepared to begin the work late next week. Mr. Eric Farnsworth is coordinating with them, and also Mr. Will Newdall at Public Works and Mr. Gary Carter in the road department, are working on determining the precise tie-in location and details. Mr. Downing is awaiting confirmation from Ms. Jodi Fritts on a payment plan for the SDC. After receiving confirmation, Ms. Downing will pay the necessary fee to get the connection service scheduled with the city. Mr. Farnsworth is trenching and Gold Beach plumbing will have the pipe and reduced pressure backflow preventer and pressure reducer laid and ready for Mr. Newdall's crew. Mr. Newdall is projecting the connection project to be ready sometime during the 3rd week in July, 2019. On 06.02.19 River Hills Estate B water system was inactivated because the source was properly abandoned. River Hills Estate (RHS) A ( PWS ID 05594) is currently serving the population of both RHE-A and RHE-B. |
