| Details: | Spoke to Ace Hickman by phone following the sample showing the presence of total coliform. He said he believed the result may have related to malfunction of the chlorination system as it appeared the chlorine to water recipe was diluted with excess water. Ace said that he planned for Monday to collect a source sample plus 3 distribution samples, one from the connection sampled earlier this week and 1 upstream and 1 downstream from the original connection. In the month of august 3 temporary routine samples are due from any where in the distribution system. But if any repeat sample showed coliform present it would be important to resolve problems prior to taking august samples. |
