| Details: | The water system collected follow up repeat and a triggered source samples (7/18/19) after a routine total coliform positive sample. All three repeat and the triggered source sample were positive for total coliform bacteria. The system has been attempting to identify and fix the source of the problem but haven't yet. I spoke with Larry Glaze (IMESD Facilities) about possible future actions. Suggestions made were to have the well inspected for possible sand intrusion. Staff at the school had been commenting about excess sand showing up in the plumbing. We also discussed possible treatment options should the system trigger mandatory treatment. System is to take its regular coliform sample in August. Further action will be based on the result. | ||
