| Details: | I conducted an unannounced site visit and called owner Oscar Garza while on the property. During the call I verified that the water system is now severed by an unapproved well source (L97408). I explained required coliform, arsenic, and nitrate sampling (which has not been done in over five years). I subsequently spoke with the property manager who conducted required sampling. Ongoing, coliform sampling should be conducted quarterly, and nitrate annually. The property manager mentioned that Oscar intends to install point-of-use water treatment. I explained to the manager that that may not a good idea and further complicates interpreting sample results. I explained that routine sampling must be conducted prior to any point-of-use treatment. | ||
