| Details: | Alan referred to chlorine concentrations from values of 0.02 to 5.0 mg/L. He intermixed the location of the decimal point as he discussed concentrations that are measured daily and those that result in customer complaints. Thus, it was not possible to discern what the current operating concentration may be. I make clear Murphy needs to maintain 0.5 mg/L at a minimum and Alan said he would aim for 0.6 to 0.7 mg/L. He is using a color wheel, which means a degree of inaccuracy, though it is acceptable for measurement at that concentration. I told him he could double his contact volume and halve the required chlorine minimum to 0.25 mg/L. |
