| Details: | Forest Haven has a well on an adjacent property that is currently for sale. They are concerned that with the sale of the property, they may lose access to their well and/or their source of water. They want to look into funding assistance to possibly buy the parcel. Dan Vaage visited the site and spoke/corresponded at length with Connard and Tracy. Dan involved several contacts at OHA in the issue in an attempt to find a solution. The result was that funding assistance would likely not be available for purchasing property, unless the purchaser was only buying the small section of land that the actual well/infrastructure was located on. It was suggested that Forest Have MHP look into drilling a new well on property that they already own, as this would be a much cheaper and legally less messy solution. |
