| Details: | I called Elliott in response to a request submitted on August 17 for invalidating a lead and copper sample. The original sample was collected on July 18 from a hand washing sink in a pump station and exceeded the action level for lead. I told Elliott that because the sample was not collected at an appropriate sample site it should be invalidated. A replacement sample has already been collected from a homeowner's kitchen faucet. Elliott and I discussed the sample site criteria for lead and copper tap water samples and he said he'll develop a list of homes built between 1983 and 1985 with copper pipes for future monitoring. | ||
